Chippenham Dragon Boat Race 2010

Once again Avagio teamed up with our selected charity The Wiltshire Blind society and raised hundreds of pounds by entering the Chippenham dragon boat race.

We had a fantastic time and a great day out for all the paddlers and helpers. In addition to the dragon boat sponsorship we raised extra money with a raffle and Pimms tent.

The competition was fierce this year with many more teams from the Air Force and Army taking part but the Avagio boat raised its game when it mattered to finsh the winner of the civilian competition and third overall!

I would like to thank all our volunteers and helpers that gave up their time to raise badly needed funds for the Wiltshire blind community and the local Chippenham charities.
